William Anthony Knotts

William Anthony Knotts, 73, of Kingwood, died on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Mon General Hospital.

He was born on January 18, 1948, in Terra Alta, a son of the late Charles Leslie and Ruth Elizabeth (Hemrick) Knotts

William was a husband, father, grandfather and brother, whom loved his family.

He is survived by her wife of 32 years, Sandra Roy Knotts; three sons: Rick Knotts of NC, Brian Knotts  and wife Beth of SC, Donnie Roy of Rowlesburg; three daughters, Elizabeth Scott and husband, George of Williamson, WV , Mary Jennings and husband, Nathan of Fellowsville, and Kimberly Cramer and husband, Glenn of Rowlesburg; three brothers: John Knotts of Ohio, Charles (Chuck) Knotts of Grafton, and Joseph Knotts of Fellowsville; five sisters: Vicki Long  and Charlene Long both of Tunnelton, Donna Hawkins of Newburg,  Penny Bolyard of Terra Alta and Trina Knotts of Canton, OH; nine grandchildren, Hailiee, Tyler, Levi, Austin, Taylor, Sayer, Kaydence, Freedom and Sara; and one great grandson,  Ricky Joe Stone, III.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Larry R and David Paul Knotts and one sister: Elona Sue Uphold.

Browning Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation services.

There will be a celebration of life on January 18, 2022 at a location not yet determined.
