Timothy Allan Myers, 68, of Kingwood died at home with his family at his bedside on Friday March 6, 2020.
He was born September 13, 1951, in Morgantown, a son of the late James Harlan and Frances Marie Bobrowski Myers.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, He loved to hunt, spend time with his grandchildren, have cookouts on the family farm, ride his ATV and educate himself on firearms and hunting. He was a graduate of Fairmont State College, drove truck for Myers Trucking, previously owned two businesses and worked for Greer Industries for 20+ years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara Ann; four children, Jason Myers and partner, Amber Dakon of Rowlesburg, Craig Myers and wife, Jennifer of Tunnelton, Jessica Rhodes and husband, Brock of Kingwood and Logan Myers and partner, Angelia Thomas of Kingwood; as well as eight grandchildren, Madison Myers, Allison Myers, Coltin Myers, Damon Myers, Gavin Myers, Blair Rhodes, Barrett Rhodes and Chase Myers; he is also survived by one brother, Gerald and wife, Sue Myers of Youngstown, OH; his loving in-laws. Blaine and Katherine Kight of Oakland, MD; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his loving parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Myers.
Family and friends may call at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Monday, March 9 from 6-8 pm and on Tuesday, March 10 from 2-8 pm where a wake service will be held at 7:30 pm. On Wednesday, March 11, 2020 a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Howesville with Father Andrew Switzer as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
