Shirley J. (Goff) Friend

Shirley J. Friend, 72, of Kingwood, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at home.

She was born March 10, 1947 in Grafton the daughter of the late Ressie Martin and Hazel Violet Hall Goff.

Shirley was a mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, James M. (Mikey) Tennant of Morgantown; her daughter, Beverly Bryner of PA. two brothers, David Goff and Samuel Jemley; four sisters, Brenda, Carolyn, Elsie and Marie; two grandchildren, Ashley Tennant, Alex Turner and several cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 10am -1 pm the funeral hour with Reverend Reverend Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Fellowsville.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Browning Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral cost.
