Ruth Ellen (Miller) Sheets

Ruth Ellen Miller Sheets, 88 of Raccoon Township, PA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 17, 2021 after a very brief illness.

Ruth waited her whole life for this moment to see the Kingdom of Heaven, Ruth would always say “Dead in the Flesh; Alive in the Spirit”! She loved the Lord and served him daily.

She was born on April 16, 1933 in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Harley K and Bessie Jefferys Miller. Married Robert Lee Sheets and moved to Beaver County in 1950 to start their family. She loved to sew, read and study her Bible; this gave her peace and comfort throughout her life.

Ruth is survived by her three daughters, Betsy Mazon, Rachel Brooks and husband Larry and Nancy Johnson and husband, Harold; her son, Daniel Sheets; ten grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and numerous sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.

Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her beautiful daughter, Dorothy Powell, and infant grandchild, Michael John Powell and a loving grandson, Adam Brooks.

Family will receive friends at Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville at 13411 Veteran Memorial Hwy.  on Thursday May 20, 2021 from 12 noon -3 pm the funeral hour with Pastor Sonny McNear Officating.  Interment will follow at the Howesville Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers monetary contributions can be Made to the family to help with funeral cost.

Masks and social distancing will be observed during the visitation and funeral service.
