Paul Robert Jackson 83 years old, took his last breath December 1, 2021.  Born at his family home in Kingwood, West Virginia, April 3, 1938.

Loving father to daughter, Andrea Renee and son, Jared Carl Jackson who survived him along with his beloved wife, Carole DiLorenzo; his brother, Charles Alton and wife, Martha Jackson; a sister-in-law, Dana Jackson wife of Paul’s deceased younger brother, David Richard Jackson, all of Kingwood.  Paul was also preceded in death by an infant son, Lyndon Brent Jackson whose mother, Reva Loughry Jackson Devall also preceded Paul in death.  He was also preceded by his maternal aunt, Helen Hershman Tucker and both of his parents, Louise Almira Hershman and Vernon Fortney Jackson.

Paul was a Christian minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 55 years serving in two congregations, one in Oakland, MD and here in Kingwood.  Paul had the privilege of helping a number of individuals make a dedication to Jehovah God, the loving heavenly father of our Lord and King Jesus Christ.

Paul also played a significant role in planning and direction of the construction of the beautiful Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located on East High Street in Kingwood.

Paul’s focus in life was on his dedication to his God, Jehovah, his family and the care of the Christian congregation, this despite the many life-threatening illnesses he faced over the past 65 years.

Paul was a loyal friend to those who knew him and always had a listening ear for friends and family, family that included his brother’s sons and their families.  We all loved him dearly and will miss him. He rests now.

There will be a ZOOM Memorial Service on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 1 pm officiated by Jehovah’s Witnesses.  The service will be preceded by a video of photos of Paul’s life.  So log on early.  Anyone wishing to join us call 1-304-864-3648 for the Zoom link instructions or phone hook-up instructions.
