Patty "Mammy" Joan (McCrobie) Feather

Patty Joan "Mammy" Feather, 71, of Reedsville, passed away December 30, 2020.

She was born January 24, 1949 in Reedsville, a daughter of the late Ethel Stonebraker and Lawrence Varner McCrobie.

She was a loving mother, sister and homemaker.  She was a Jehovah’s Witness by faith, she enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and word search also enjoyed meals with her Mexican family at Rosemary’s Thyme.

She is survived by her daughter, Bessie Feather of Reedsville, three brothers, Sam McCrobie and companion, Alice Sines, of Reedsville, David McCrobie of Kingwood, and Harry McCrobie and wife, Susan of KY, six sisters, Lilly Reckart and husband, Patrick of Kingwood, Rosemary Weaver and husband, Raymond of Kingwood, Ida Stonebraker of AL, Charlotte Forsythe and husband Lee of PA, Marlene Jenkins and husband, Joe of Pentress and Bonnie Gibson of OH; her half-brother, Daniel Barnhard and wife, Rita of Parkersburg and a special sister in-law, Patricia McCrobie of Tunnelton and several nieces, nephews and friends she loved so much words cannot say.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Feather, six brothers, Ed, Dougie, George, Ernie, Bradley and Johnnie; two sisters, Pamela McCrobie and Candy Feathers; a half-brother, Charlie McCrobie and two half-sisters, Betty and Barbara Cline; as well as the love of her life ex-husband, Delbert (Buck) Feather.

The family asked in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Browning Funeral Home, PO Box 1000, Kingwood, WV 26537-1000 to help with funeral expense.

Family will receive friends at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Sunday January 3 at 12 noon till 2pm. A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery on Sunday January 3, 2021 at 2:30pm with Darwin Turner officiating.
