Larry Edward Uphold

Larry Edward Uphold, 75 of Terra Alta died Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Pine Ridge.

He was born January 15, 1944, in Preston County, a son of late Neil E. and Nina Sisler Uphold.

Larry served his county for 20 years in the US Army. He worked as a Pepsi Route Salesman, a Clerk at the Tobacco Den and in the produce department at Foodland in Kingwood.

He is survived by special friends, Cheryl and Harry Hayes.

He was also preceded in death his brother, Carlenton James Uphold.

Friends may call at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Tuesday, October 29, from 2-8 pm where services will be held at 11am Wednesday, October 30, 2019 with Pastor Sonny McNear officiating. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Preston County Honor Guards and the WVANG Military Funeral Honors.
