Jason Alan Myers

Jason Alan Myers, age 42, of Tunnelton, passed away March 13, 2023.  He was born in Morgantown, WV, April 9, 1980, a son of the late Timothy Alan Myers, and Barbara Ann (Kight) Myers, who survives of Tunnelton.

Jason was a 1998 graduate of Preston High School where he was active in theater. He was a truck driver and employed at GNH Trucking, and enjoyed listening to music and collecting knives. He always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by: two sons Damon Alexander Myers and wife Reagan, of Texas, and Gavin Andrew Myers, of Richwood, WV; two brothers, Craig Myers and wife Jennifer, of Tunnelton, and Logan Myers and fiance’ Angelia Thomas, of Terra Alta; one sister Jessica Rhodes and husband Brock, of Tunnelton; his maternal grandmother, Katherine Kight, of Oakland, MD; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harlan and Frances Myers, and his maternal grandfather, Blaine Kight.

Friends may call at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, on Monday, March 20 from 3pm until the funeral hour.  Funeral services will be conducted at 7 pm, at the funeral home with Father Dominic Athishu officiating.  Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery will be conducted at a later date.
