Ira Smouse Obituary
Ira Joseph Smouse, 75 of Masontown, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at home with family by his side.
He was born August 29, 1945, a son of the late John and Opal Moats Smouse.
He was a caring husband, father, grandfather and brother. Ira enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses, walks in the woods and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Jean Stonebraker Smouse; his three daughters, Melanie Smouse of Masontown, Barbara Moats, of Delslow and Lisa Smouse of Masontown; a brother, Ronald Smouse of Newburg, a sister, Angela Huffman of Kingwood, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Elwood and John; two sisters, Wilma and Lily May and a grandchild, Joseph Moats.
