Ida (Waybright) Simons

Ida Waybright Simons, 94 of Tunnelton, went to be with her Lord, Tuesday August 10, 2021 with loving family by her side.

She was born August 22, 1926, in Pierce, the daughter of the late Abel W. and Zula Bennett Waybright.

Ida was a loving mother, grandmother, Christian and homemaker and was the last survivor of her immediate family.

She is survived by her  four sons, Roger Simons, Sr and wife, Brenda, George Simons and wife, Sissy, Tim Simons and wife, Irene and Jamie Simons and wife, Rose; her four daughters, Margaret Teegarden and companion, Gary Shriver, Linda Edwards and husband, Dana, Surrilda Street and Gloria Newlon, twenty grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Simons in 2016, two children, several brothers and sisters and two grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, on Friday August 13, 2021 from 12 noon till 2pm the funeral hour with Reverend Jack Pifer officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Israel Cemetery on Marquess road.
