Helen Ceclia Werner, 82, of Bruceton Mills, formerly of Newark, Deleware, entered into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Mon Preston Memorial Hospital with loving family by her side.
She was born March 3, 1940, in Moosic PA., a daughter of the late Harvey and Mary Davis Herron.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Helen worked as a file clerk for Delaware Charter Guarantee & Trust. Helen enjoyed watching the Golden Girls, collecting cookies jars, piggy banks and clown figurines. She loved her cat FuFu, but she loved her grandchildren the most.
She is survived by two daughters, Diane Werner and Marylynn Mayle and husband, Timothy all of Bruceton Mills; a brother, Robert Herron of Old Forge, PA; two sisters, Shirley Nelson and Mary Ogonosky both of Moosic, PA; grandchildren: Marcus Werner, Ja’Von Brooks, Isaiah Brooks, Brandon Mayle and significant other Jenna Smith, Emily Mayle and significant other Alex Chipps ; one happy, beautiful great granddaughter, Isabelle Chipps; along with Robert Hines, Chanye Hines and Alex Erony who she considered her own grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband in 2016, Edward John Werner, Jr.; two brothers, Harvey” Champ” Herron of Florida and William “Billy” Herron of Delaware and a sister, Francis Ames of Florida.
There will be a private service held for family at a later date. Her daughters will share this information.

Kingwood Funeral Home will be assisting family with cremation services.
