Elda Armeda (Nedrow) Hodges

Elda Armeda Hodges, 89, of Tunnelton, passed away February 3, 2021 at Preston Memorial Hospital with family by her side.

She was born February 8, 1931, in Kingwood, a daughter of the late Walter H and Ocie Florence White Nedrow.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and homemaker.  She was an excellent cook and loved her vegetable and flower gardens, sewing and doing crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Donald Hodges; two daughters, Judy Adkins and husband, Clinton of Reedsville and Rhonda Rice and husband, Ron of Cheat Lake, two step-sons, Patrick Hodges and wife, Grace of Warner Robins, GA and Kenneth Hodges and wife, Ellen of Levittown, PA; a step-daughter, Donna K. Uber of Croydon, PA; her granddaughter, Sarah Slagle, three great grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and several step-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Marriott Dane Taylor, a son, Larry Marion Taylor, three brothers, Carl, Glenn and George Nedrow; a granddaughter, Regina Toppins and a step-granddaughter.

Family will receive friends at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Saturday February 6, 2021 from 2 pm till 4pm.

Browning Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation services.
