Dennis Lee Bolyard

Dennis Bolyard, 72, of Kingwood, WV, died on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at his home.

Dennis was born June 26, 1946, in Parsons, a son of the late Kenneth E. and Dora (Nine) Bolyard.

He was a 1964 graduate of Morgantown High School and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Dennis attended church at Woodland United Methodist Church in Morgantown. He retired as a carpenter and was a member of the Local 604 Carpenter Union in Morgantown and was also a member of the VVA 977 in Masontown.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Lou (Gallatin) Bolyard; children and spouses, Randy and Casey Bolyard, Ray and Jenny Sheets, Jerry and Linda Sheets, Aimee and Mike Stuyvesant, Susie and Steve Snyder; one sister and spouse, Donna Bolyard and Ed Gerson; grandchildren, Wade, Collin, Jesse, Samantha, Mariah, Emily, Sadie, Rebecca, Cherril, Madison and Michael; great-grandchildren, Wylee, Myra, Eliana and Roman.

Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel; 295 South Price Street on Saturday, August 25, 2018, from 2-4pm. Military honors will be accorded by the Preston County Honor Guard and WVANG Military Funeral Honors, Camp Dawson following the visitation.

Interment will be privately held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Marquess.
