Bonnie Kit (Wiles) Johnson Huff

Bonnie Kit Johnson Huff, 81 years of age, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born on November 28, 1944, in Philippi, WV, a daughter of the late Scott Roth Wiles and Edna Eleanor (Dewitt) Wiles.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Robert W. Huff whom she married on March 24, 2012; her daughter Melissa Johnson Blackwell (Myron), of Hollywood, FL, a special son-in-law Harlin Wolfe and wife Diane of Eglon, WV, she lovingly welcomed as her own, her step-children, Rebekah Huff (Doug Keller) of Clarksburg, WV, Melinda Huff Fitzpatrick (Ian) of Clarksburg, WV, Robert L. Huff (Marisa) of Fairmont, WV and Bethany Huff Williams (Chad) of Cranberry Township, PA, she’s also survived by several grandchildren who were her world- DaLee Cramer Goss (Brian), of Kingwood, WV, Jenna Cramer Spinello (Nick) of Lubbock, TX, Harlin Zachary Wolfe (Sydney) of Eglon, WV and Madison Watts (Jesse) of Elgon , WV. Also, Seamus Arthur Fitzpatrick, Rowan William Fitzpatrick, and Colin Robert Fitzpatrick of Clarksburg, WV. Great Grandchildren - Adaline Stratton of Howlesville, WV, Mazlynn Stratton of Kingwood, WV, Alexis and Laramie Goss of Kingwood, WV, Tatum Wolfe of Eglon, WV, and Clover Spinello, of Lubbock, TX.

She loved being a grandma, her favorite people called her memaw. She’s also survived by her brother, Alden Jack Wiles of Atlanta, GA. Bonnie enjoyed collecting antiques, reading, and spending time with family. A perfect day for her would be one where she spent time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Huie Johnson, on February 15, 1998, a daughter, Teresa Beth Wolfe, on August 2, 2003, a sister, Karen Jill Ruppenthal, great grandson, Ryder Paxton Stratton, on May 4, 2015, and a great granddaughter, Westlynn Noa Goss, on July 21, 2021.

Bonnie was a graduate of Terra Alta High School in 1962 and Fairmont State University in 1990, obtaining a Registered Nurse Degree. She worked in several area hospitals and retired from Heartland of Preston County, Kingwood, WV., where she was Director of Nursing for 14 years. She was dedicated to helping others, that’s where she found her true purpose in life. She loved fiercely and would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needed it. She was a member of Bible Baptist Temple in Stonewood, WV. Her faith was a large aspect of her life. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 43, of Newburg, WV. Words cannot fully articulate the huge impact that her beautiful soul had on all of us, the loss that we are all experiencing is profound. Bonnie loved animals; in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Preston County Animal Shelter, 278 Poor Farm Rd, Kingwood, WV 26537. 

Friends may call on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Additional visitation will be held the following day, Friday, May 22, 2026, from 9:00am until the 11:00am funeral service, officiated by Pastor Charles Madaus.
