Arthur Daniel Garletts

Arthur Daniel Garletts, 90 of Tunnelton, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Janet’s Heavenly Home.

He was born December 6, 1929, in Connellsville, PA, a son of the late Smith and Florence Garlettes.

Arthur was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and working from daylight to dark on his farm, loved spending time with his family, was a member of the Kingwood Free Methodist Church.

He is survived by his son, Reverend Henry Garletts and wife, Linda of Tunnelton; a brother, Earl David Garletts of Pennsboro; five sisters, Joyce Petrilla of Niles, OH, Jeannie Pirlo and Florence Pirlo both of Morgantown; Helen Phillips of Tunnelton and Olive Merrill of Tulsa, OK; two grandchildren, Benjamin Garletts and wife Harmony of Fairmont, Bethany Kelly and husband, Edward of Tunnelton and three great grandchildren.

He was also preceded by his loving wife in 2015, Geneva Fisher Garletts, his brothers, Donald and James and a sister, Dorothy Pratt.

A private family graveside service was held at Maplewood Cemetery.
