Maxine Miller 85 of the Howesville Community, passed away Thursday December 24, 2020 at Stonerise Kingwood.
She was born January 27, 1935, in Tunnelton, a daughter of the late Ashford and Pearl Brooks Maxwell.
Maxine was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She worked as a cashier at Foodland, she cooking and baking and loved spending time with her family and caring for her cats, she was Methodist by faith and loved spending time with her family.
Maxine is survived by her son, Marvin ‘Butch” Miller and wife, Cheryl of Tunnelton, her daughter, Julia Fletcher and husband, Bob of Kingwood; grandchildren, Jason Fletcher and Tracy, Jeremy Miller and Alyssa, Danielle Spiker and Jeremy, Courtney Layton and Josh, Kim Liston and Dan and Anthony Miller and Reanna and twelve great grandchildren; two sister, Norma Bolyard and Don of Terra Alta and Shirley Bishop and Lee of Fredrickburg, VA.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Marvin Miller, a brother, Edward Maxwell, two sisters, Patty Pyles and Anna Teets.
The family would like to thank the staff of Stonerise-Kingwood for all their care gave to Mrs. Maxine Miller.
Browning Funeral Home is assisting the family with a private graveside service with Pastor Mike Argabrite officiating. A celebration of life of Maxine will be held at a later date.
