Ruby Alice (Lewis) Moyers

Ruby Alice Moyers, 94 of Kingwood, WV passed away on July 2, 2018 at her favorite place, Preston Memorial Hospital.

She was born October 25, 1923 in Sines, MD; daughter of the late Bruce and Sarah Sines Lewis. 

Ruby ran an adult care home for over thirty years.  She was a member of the Kingwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time at the Kingwood Senior Center, crocheting, puzzles, and cooking. She loved spending time with family and friends and was always heading somewhere.

She survived by one son, Bruce Franklin Corley and wife Cathy; Kingwood; three daughters, Sandra Kay Miller and husband Otis, Ormond Beach, FL, Alice Margaret Bishoff and companion Howard Dillsworth, Kingwood, Dolly Darlene Sypolt and husband James “Mike” Sheets, Kingwood; ten grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Franklin Corley; second husband, Jackson Paul Moyers; one son, Charles Howard Corley, her granddaughter, Crystal Corley-Dressel,  her son in-law, Joe Wilhelm, her grandson, Joe Wilhelm, Jr, and fourteen siblings.

Family and friends may call at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 2pm-8pm, where service will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11am with Pastor Dan Hardesty officiating.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
