Reva Jo Sypolt, 52, of Kingwood, died Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Preston Memorial Hospital. She was born February 14, 1954, in Petersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Vernon and Elsie Berg Carr. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Kingwood Assembly of God Church where she was the leader of Women???s Ministries and had also been a youth leader. She and her husband were foster parents and she loved her job of babysitting, baking and doing crafts. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Donald Sypolt; a son Billy Harris-Sypolt of Kingwood; three daughters and a spouse, Melody Sypolt and Stephanie Sypolt, both of Kingwood and Peggie Paulus and husband, Jeff of Fort Wayne, IN; three brothers and spouses, Harvey and Bernice Carr of Petersburg, June and Leta Carr of Laymansville, WV and Leonard and Jeannie Carr of Maysville, WV; a sister and spouse, Hilda and Rev. Kenneth Phares of Petersburg, WV; a grandson, Xavier James Paulus of Fort Wayne and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Carr. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Tuesday, October 3rd at the Browning Funeral Home, 201 E. Main Street in Kingwood. Mrs. Sypolt will lie in state at the Kingwood Assembly of God Church from Noon, Wednesday, October 4th till the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Anthony Judy officiating.
