Renick E. Liston 87, of the Lenox community died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at WVU Medicine, J. W. Ruby Memorial.
He was born September 9, 1931 in Preston County, WV.
Mr. Liston served with the US Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict, retired from the Ford Motor Company, loved hunting, fishing, playing golf and traveling. He also enjoyed going on cruises and spending winters at his home in FL.
He is survived by his daughter, Anna Renea Kizina and husband Matt of Lorain, OH; two grandchildren, Milissa Kizina Motsch and husband, Jeff of Lorain, OH and Audra Kizina Gofman and husband, Alex of Poughquag, NY and two great-grandchildren, Cora Motsch and Yuri Gofman.
He is also survived by his wife, Margaret Hill Liston; a step-son, Dr. Blaine Messenger and wife, Jen of Pittsburgh, PA; two step-daughters, Mary Swecker and husband, Jeff of Lenox and Donna Swanson and husband, Floyd of Walkersville, MD; three sisters, Marilyn Bolinger and husband, Clarence of Kingwood, Peggy Morgan and husband, Marvin of Albright and Nancy Metz and husband, Tim of Arthurdale; 10 step-grandchildren and 18 step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice, his grandparents, George and Dora Liston.
A celebration of life will be held at Browning Funeral Home on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 11am.
