Rebecca Louise (Murray) Uphold

Rebecca Louise Uphold, 68, of Masontown, died Saturday, July 27, 2019 at her home with loving family by her side.

She was born September 11, 1950, in Preston County, a daughter of the late Howard and Irene Murphy Murray.

Rebecca was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was a graduate of Kingwood High School, Class of 1968 and worked as a bank teller.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Uphold, her son, Keith Uphold and wife, Hope, all of Kingwood; grandchildren, Kessiah Uphold of Morgantown, Ashley Uphold and fiancé, Jeremy Shreve and Zach Uphold, all of Kingwood; one great grandson, Noah Uphold; a brother, Paul Murray of Osceola, IN; a special brother in-law, Harold Caldwell of Muncie, IN; a special sister in-law, Sally Murray of Bridgman, MI. and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by ten siblings, her in-laws, Orval & Lilly Uphold and her ex-husband, but dear friend, Garry Uphold.

 Friends may call at the Anchor Church in Friendsville, MD on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 4-6 pm.  A memorial service will follow the visitation at 6 pm with Pastor Mike Robinson officiating..

The family would like to thank the WV Caring Hospice Staff members Shelly Stiles, Lori Dalton, and Kayla Hess for their care of mom thru her illness.
