Ocie Florence Vargo

Ocie Florence Vargo 86 of Kingwood died Saturday, September 2, 2006 at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood. She was born December 16, 1919, in Preston County, a daughter of the late Edward and Emma Fizer Wolfe. She was a homemaker and had retired from Preston Memorial Hospital after working in the laundry department for 20 years. She is survived by a son, Raymond Vargo of Reedsville and two sisters-in-law, Madeline Linn Wolfe of Garettsville, OH and Jo Vargo of Shreveport, LA. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Vargo in 2005; seven brothers, Henry, Simon, Clarence, Guy, Ned, Dennis and Harry Wolfe; three sisters, Mary Strahin, Myrtle Wolfe and Retha Weaver Metheny and a nephew, Harry (Jake) Weaver. Friends may call at the Browning Funeral Home, 201 E. Main Street, Kingwood from 6-8 PM Tuesday where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, September 6, 2006 with Rev.
