Marvin Eugene Sager

Marvin Eugene Sager, 63, of Shenandoah, VA and formerly of Preston County died Saturday, March 10, 2018 in Harrisonburg, VA with family by his side.

He was born August 7, 1954, in Morgantown, a son of the late Marvin Hunter and Betty Evelyn Simpson Sager.

He was a loving father, grandfather and brother.  He served in the US Army and was a laborer.

He is survived by his companion, Joyce Pence, two sons, Michael E. Sager and wife, Brandy of Luray, VA and Dusty E. Sager and wife, Sara of Stanley, VA; a daughter, Shelly Morris and husband, Michael of Luray; two brothers, Waitman J. Sager of Kingwood and Danny C. Sager of Morgantown; a sister, Peggy Sue Funk of Terra Alta; four grandchildren, Samantha, Justin, Dakota and Ethan and four great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville from 2-5 pm on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.  On Wednesday, March 14, 2018 Mr. Sager will be moved to the WV National Cemetery, Grafton, WV for a 10 AM graveside service with Reverend Ray Frankhouser officiating.  Following the service military honors will be accorded by the Grafton VFW post and the WVANG Military Funeral Honors Detail.
