Larry Edward Turner II, 50 of Tunnelton died Thursday, April 18, 2019 at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital with loving family by his side.
He was born June 17, 1968, in Morgantown, a son of Larry E. Turner and wife, Carolyn of Kingwood and Kay Hauser Bernatowicz and husband, John of Tunnelton .
He was a loving son, brother and uncle. Larry worked as a Pit Master and co-owner of Off the Grid Restaurant and Pizzeria. He served in the US Air Force, traveled the world with the Eagles System that resupplied US Army Bases. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the Mountaineers.
In addition to his parents he is survived by three brothers, Buddy Turner and wife, Tina, Slade Turner and wife, Mindy and Lance Turner and wife, Leah, all of Kingwood; two sisters, Amy Bernatowicz and Nicki Curry and husband, David, all of Tunnelton; his fur baby- Hank, special friends and business partner, Delisa Riley and husband, John of Tunnelton and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Geraldine Hauser; his paternal grandparents, Denzil (Zip) and Ruby Turner and Grandma Stella, Stella Bernatowicz.
Family will receive friends at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Monday, April 22 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. On Tuesday, April 23, 2019 a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the St. Sebastian Catholic Church at 11am with Father Andrew Switzer as celebrant. Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery where military graveside rites will be accorded.
