Harry Harrison "Jack" Hill, Jr.

Harry (Jack) Hill, 86, passed in peace on Friday, July 12, 2019 in Kingwood, WV. Jack was born on April 18, 1933 to Virginia Benson and Harry Hill of Terra Alta and was the youngest of four siblings which preceded him in death.

 In 1953, Jack married his High School “sweetheart” Kitty Lou Markwood in Terra Alta, WV. Jack served in the United States Army in Fort Lee, VA where he played football.

Jack was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. Jack loved golfing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was the happiest developing new business initiatives or during quiet times on his tractor. Jack was admired for his keen business skills.

 Survivors include his wife Kitty; his children, Vickie & Jack Jenkins and Mark & Stephanie Hill; grandchildren, Nicole Wolfe, Natalie & Dustin Barnes and Craig & Shelley Hill; great-grandchildren, Jagger Barnes, Rowen Wolfe, Addisyn Barnes, Bristol Barnes, and Ryder Harrison Hill; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 A time of gathering at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, WV will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 PM & 6:00-8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 10 – 11:00AM the time of funeral services with Sue Snider officiating, burial to follow in the Terra Alta Cemetery.
