George Edward Castle

George Edward Castle 71 of Tunnelton passed away October 15, 2018 at his residence.

 He was born August 27, 1947 in Tunnelton, a son of  Lula Mae Kelley Castle and the late Norvin Glenn.

 George graduated from Tunnelton High School, Class of 1965 and attended Potomac State. His hobbies were camping, hunting and fishing.  He was a member of the NRA. George worked for Kingwood Wholesale for twenty three years and was currently working as a salesman with Bell’s Wholesale for twenty four years.

He is survived by his wife Sharron Dolores Weaver Castle; two sons, Thomas Alan Castle and wife Connie, Flemington, James Edward Castle, Cheat Lake; one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Amoroso and husband Michael, Morgantown; two grandchildren, Nathan Glenn Castle and Grant Hunter Castle; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Garver, Baldwin, MD.

 In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Mae Warnick, Joyce Lynn Cobun and Carolyn Sue Carlson.

George’s wishes were cremation and a private service at a later date.  Browning Funeral Home and Cremation is handling the cremation for the Castle family.
