Garry Lee Uphold

Garry Lee Uphold, 71 of Kingwood died Saturday, April 21, 2018 in  J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by his side.

He was born February 25, 1947 in Kingwood, a son of the late Orval Eugene and Lillie Ivy (Wilson) Uphold.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He worked for Sheidow Bronze. He loved spending time with family, fishing, hunting and cutting grass.

He is survived by his son, Keith Uphold and wife, Hope and his daughter, Jennifer Uphold all of Kingwood;  three grandchildren, Kessiah Uphold and boyfriend, Ryan Dotson, Ashley Uphold and Zach Uphold; a great grandson, Noah Blake Uphold and his ex-wife,  who remained  a friend, Becky Uphold of Masontown.

Family and friends may gather at the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood on Tuesday April 24, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with service on Wednesday April 25, 2018 at 11am with Pastor Mike Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to his Funeral Care Fund on the Browning Funeral Home website to assist the family with funeral expenses.
