Franklin F. McCauley, 64, of Tunnelton, died Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born April 12, 1942 in Newburg, the son of the late Edna Bell McCauley. He was a member of the First Christian Apostolic Church in Tunnelton and had worked as a mine belt repairman for the Scandura Company in Port Clinton, OH. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he enjoyed NASCAR, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Buckingham McCauley; four daughters, Sheila McCauley and companion Tommy Manzo of Garden City, Michigan, Diane Scott and husband Anthony Scott of Kingwood and Almira Jackson and Lori McCauley, both of Michigan; one son, Michael McCauley of Michigan; one brother, Philip McCauley of Florida; three sisters, Rosalie Newcome of Daytona, FL; Mary Myers of Thornton and Bea Massey of Victory, OH and seven grandchildren. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 22nd at the Browning Funeral Home, 201 East Main Street in Kingwood. Mr. McCauley will lie in state on Saturday, September 23rd at the First Christian Apostolic Church in Tunnelton from 12:00 Noon till the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Ray Frankhouser officiating.
