Dorotha Fay Popielewski 96 of Kingwood died Monday, September 24, 2018 at Pine Ridge with family by her side.
She was born August 18, 1922, in Howesville, a daughter of the late Edward and Carrie Franks Miller.
Mrs. Popielewski was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a Pentecostal by faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Poland of Tunnelton and Diana Popielewski of Kingwood; eight grandchildren, Richard Weaver and wife, Fay, Robin Cress and husband, George, Tammy Phillips, Curtis Phillips, Valerie Phillips, Danielle Poland, Jeremy Poland and wife, Stephanie and Shelley Miller and husband, Brian; seven great-grandchildren, Morgan Cress, Macy Poland, Layla Poland, Bella Miller, Samatha McCoy, Dakota Phillips and Josh Phillips and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Peter Popielewski, a son, Ralph Popielewski, two daughters, Carolyn Weaver and Delores Phillips, a grandson, Delbert Phillips, Jr., and two sons-in-law, David Poland and Delbert Phillips, Sr.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in the Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood with Reverend Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow the service.
